Last night the in the 25th match of IPL 2019, there was an incident that led to a lot of talking on the internet. Angry MS Dhoni walked straight in the ground from the dugout for argument with an umpire, when CSK was batting in the last over of the game.
A full-toss ball above the west height was bowled in the 4th ball of last over. Mitchell Santner was on strike and Ben Stokes was the bowler. Straight umpire Ulhas Gandhe raised his hand for the no but immediately backed up from the decision, reason behind that was giving no ball in case of height is totally in control of square leg umpire Bruce Oxenford.
MS Dhoni who was just sent back to the dugout in the third ball of the same over, looked unhappy with this scenario. MS walked into the middle of the ground and lashed it out on both the umpires, though umpires stood in with their decision.
It was a mistake or not by umpires, but no captain or any other player can argue with the umpires in the middle of the game. IPL fined MS Dhoni with Code of Conduct Breach. Accepting it as Level 2 offence 2.20 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct, MS Dhoni is fined with 50 percent if his match fees.
