ICC World Cup 2019: BCCI Announced Team India Squad

BCCI has confirmed the 15-man squad for ICC World Cup 2019 of Team India. Virat Kohli will lead the team in the 50-over world cup, starting from 30th May 2019. Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the Vice Captain of the team.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik are in for the batting side. MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthi will be the options to keep behind the stumps.

Team India will go with the Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shami in the bowling department.

BCCI has gone with optimum solutions. Team India’s problem for no. 4 positions have remained unanswered. It will be more likely that MS Dhoni or Dinesh Karthik will switch at the no.4 position. Rishabh Pant and Ambati Rayadu are nowhere in the team.

Favoring England conditions, Medium pacers Vijay Shankar and Hardik Pandya have made it to the squad, along with the seamers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Muhammad Shami.
